To come in from the M56 / M6 (J20) junction follow the road towards Lymm. After a right 90 and a left 90 you reach a T-junction. Turn left and immediately right down the hill to the mini-roundabout and turn left. After 60metres turn right into Davies Way and the Car Park. From Grappenhall follow the A56 towards Lymm once you cross the hump back take the left turn after the Crown pub on the right. Then left at the mini-roundabout. At the 2nd roundabout turn left and prepare to turn right at the bus depot (a sign points to Appleton YOI) Go along for about a mile and the Thorn is on the right. From the M56/A49 Junction go towards Warrington. At the first, staggered , traffic lights (At Cat & Lion) turn right and head towards Appleton |

| #91 | Wednesday July 28th 2010 | Plough Inn at Houghton Green to the North of Warrington. The way to get to it from the A57 from J 21 of the M6 is togo through Paddington and Wolston until you reach the Kingsway Lights (A50) and travel north. Go past the first lights and then at the second (The Co-op is on your left) turn right. Continue along this road and then turn left at the mini roundabout to take you over the railway bridge. Go over the next roundabout. Through the traffic lights and then over the next two roundabout and look for Mill Lane on the left. Go along here for about 200 yards and the pub is on the right. If you reach the motorway bridge then you have gone just too far. Coming from the M62 J 9 onto the A49 south - towards Warrington - turn immediately left and follow the road to the large roundabout and turn left towards Cinnamon Brow.
